Depending on the size, scaffolding or ladders may be needed. The actual painting can be time-consuming, requiring attention to details and techniques that allow for both precision and scale. Murals are often a collaboration, whether with a community, a commissioner, or a team, and each one brings its own challenges and sense of accomplishment once completed.
